got 2 tickets for my parents total is 1656$ instead of 2800$
great job DAN!
Need this from NY!!
when i go to the confirmation page on priceline, it says “Ticket is non-refundable and changes are not permitted. ”
How do i know that it would be refundable until 11:29pm the next day?
Priceline doesn’t have it but AA via google flight’s still has it, the question is whats their cancellation policy?
Not a very far drive at all.
Because that’s Priceline policy.
You can’t cancel flights booked on AA.com.
Try Orbitz or you can’t get it on Priceline.
for my own comfort, is there a link on priceline that actually says that? when i google i get some very non-specific info on the priceline site itself:
No, but I’ve used it 100 times.
So you’ll just have to trust me I’m afraid. There will be the cancel option in your email after clicking on view itinerary.
ok great – thanks a lot
Actually, screenshot of the policy shown after you click on the email itin can be found here:
Thanks, got 2 tickets, I don;t have a PRG so I used my AA card and booked the AA option on this fare so I will get 2x from AA instead
Why can’t I find it?
any way to get a similar cheap fare originating from ny? only seeing 1100+
Thanks for digging that up – I booked it and see the same now.
If there was I’d post it 😉
Just a 2 hour drive, not terrible.
Can someone please help me!
@dan: thoughts on using miles to get to PHL? or just booking as is ~$1100 from NYC area. Still a relatively good fare imo
You’ve gotta be kidding me. I already responded to you above and I’m still not a prophet.
Use 4.5K BA Avios each way if you want.
@Dan out bound on March 4th return on March 16
I sure hope you mean August.
At any rate, as you can see in the post August 16th is crossed off as it’s already sold out. Grab the 17th or 18th while you can.
Thanks. Booked 4 tickets 829
Booked! Aug 5 – 17. Thanks Dan!
Dumb question: Is there ANY advantage to purchasing the trip cancellation insurance from Priceline? (I booked with my Chase Sapphire Preferred)
Thanks, dan. Booked three tickets! Ive been waiting for cheap rt flights from nyc, but 2 hr drive is fine. Only downside is leaving israel on wed., july 22 which is shavua shechal bo. Tisha bav is that upcoming motzei shabbos.
Thx dan booked 3 tickets. Only downside is leaving israel wed. July 22 which is shavua shechal bo. Tisha bav is that upcoming motzei shabbos

Thanks Dan. You saved us thousands. We just booked eight tickets for two weeks in the summer.
trying to get tix for the kids – can’t find a price close to that on many dates so far – on priceline or on orbitz. Am I too late?
Still alive, what dates are you searching for exactly?
August 16 is back.
@yitzy: What do you need?
@Dan: shooting for july 22ish to aug 17 or 18. but could be later to tel aviv – just trying to get a nice sized visit and back to NY basically in time for the zman (august 16)
July 22 is not a valid outbound travel date.
Was in the middle of booking and when I got to check-out it said they are no longer available 🙁 I searched again and its coming up $1019
@Dan: sorry meant 23. been trying all the valid dates. any one is good.
Yup, it’s gone now!

Was in the middle of checking out with a family of 4 for 3 weeks. Nu Nu, hopefully there will be other opportunities. (Maybe even better ones 😉 )
Just booked 4 tix. You have lots of patience answering all of these brainless questions.
Why am I always getting these E mails 4-5 hours after other people?
By 4:45 this dead was dead.
I just received this E Mai .at 5:13pm.
@nissan: I guess you don’t read all your emails from Dan
