The worst airlines in the world!!! 2-4-2 in a 767 is simply ridiculous

One stop
How long on avg

As is 9 across on the 787 and 10 across on the 777.
But that’s what every airline is doing via retrofits. Less space in coach is the future.

Did you read the post?

Is this airline/stopover safe?

same sale/deal they had like 6 weeks ago, no?

I’m sure this question has been asked before on similar deals, but has anyone flown through Ukraine recently? If so what was the experience like? Does the war affect the air travel in any way

@paranoid: don’t be so paranoid!

a yid

can i get the deal for july?

@paranoid: Just did the JFK-TLV UIA flight with an overnight in Kiev. It was perfectly safe. You can enjoy a night out and get a good and very affordable dinner at Mendi’s (formerly King David’s) in downtown Kiev.

It’s perfectly safe in Kiev, not that you need to stop there if you have just a short stopover like the dates I posted.

Thanks dan and ben I appreciate you sharing your experiences.

@Ben: Do they take credit cards? How much is a meal?

Plenty of flights for under $600 on multiple airlines after October.
I’m desperately looking for a flight for late August. Cheapest I’m seeing is $762 which isn’t bad but the last time I flew to Israel was for only $320 thanks to Dan!

where can i find a cheap NON stop ROUND TRIP flight from TLV- Newark Liberty International, NJ (EWR) for the LAST week of AUGUST. (1) CHILD + (1) ADULT
Any help would be appreciated!

Does this airline fly to Miami?

Hi dan

i found a itinerary with the ITA Matrix tool, that i would like to book.

but priceline does not have availability on that flight

any other site that i can book it on with free cancellation?

thank you

I have great appreciation to Dan for these heads ups. His greatest fear to date is dealing with so many individual, case specific requests. For the longest time I thought he ran a travel agency, I found out he’s just a good guy that helps good people. A true Mentsh.

Anyway, I’ve taken this flight round trip 3x to TLV from JFK. The best part of this trip is the long layover in KIEV. I have a private driver take me to kevrei Tzadikim: Baal Shem Tov Z’l, Rebbe Nachman Z’l, and R’ Levi Yitzchok Z’l. The driver costs about $100, the tefillos are priceless.

First, I would like to thank Dan as well as I have taken this flight JFK-TLV and there is nothing to complain about especially if the price is $500-600 which makes it feasible for people to fly who otherwise wouldn’t.

PLease provide a number for this driver.

thank you

For little over $100 more, I’d rather drive to Dulles IAD airport in Washington and take UA, Swiss Air, or LH and not deal with Mr.Putin’s Neighborhood! I found $710 RT in November and Jan recently.

@aryeh I’m sure he’s a mentsh but he makes money from his blog. (Nothing wrong with that)

@daniel no need to bash the deal.

@Ben: When did it change to Mendi’s? Is the menu the same or have they changed that as well? As the KD it was good value and clean and pleasant. Not haute kosher cuisine but good.

Mr . Schecter

He also has access to a catered dinner every night in Uman (Rebbe Nachman Z’l)
It’s a bit pricey, but really good.

Can I get this promotion or any other
Flying from ny area June 14
Returning on the 17th

I need tickets to Israel for end of June til mid July. Anyone know of a good deal?

I’ve been in Ukraine several times this year and flew to Kiev (kbp) it’s safe. No worries. Also once your stopping over its a great opportunity to travel to the Holy Tzaddikim that are buried there such as Rebbe Nachman of Breslov buried in Uman. The Baal Shem Tov buried in Mezebuzh. And many more. Take advantage go to Eretz Yisrael and make a stop by these Tzaddikim and Daven for all of Klal Yisrael!

Its the best deal

what dates and what site did you find $762 – i also want to travel then and i don’t see that

How reliable is this airline? Can I take a flight that leaves Israel at 5:30 AM on Friday and gets into NY at 2:20 PM and not worry about being delayed into shabbos?

Lisa Rosenblatt

They’re definitely not reliable, but it is a safe airline.

How can i make an order for this deal?
And where can i see if there is 6/17
im sorry, im new in this site..

It is rediculous that an airline that flys to the usa from israel has no kosher food for the final leg of the flight. So either yu bring food to last 36 hours or you starve

Who relies on airline food?

@Jo: Never rely in a fri/ shabbos situation. Anything, anything can happen. Statistics mean nothing. In addition, it is brought down, not to put your self in such a situation unless obviously an emergency.

Any deals ffrom tel-aviv to New York from Mid/end of July until Mid-august?

Devorah D.

I need two tickets from NY to TLV from July 19 returning mid August. Any good deals. So far all I found are tickets over $1300.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

How long do these things usually last for?

Always risky no matter which airline.

@Aryeh: I want to use him can I get more info

Could you let me know who to contact in Kiev to take us to the kevorim? Do you need to make a visa to go to Kiev?

You do not need a visa. I have an 18 hour stopover in Kiev in a few days. Happy to compare notes. You can email me at danthecan at

Is a thirteen hour stopover enough time to get to a kever and back? Please send me any driver recommendation/information. Thank you.

I am travelling through Kiev in a few days with an 18 hour stopover. Happy to compare notes. You can email me at danthecan at

Rachel english

How do I contact this driver in Kiev and how many hours are needed to go to kvarim. I need to know how long I would need between connecting flights,
