Spirit had flights between Chicago to/from Boston, Dallas, Detroit, and New York LaGaurdia for $2 round-trip each way plus tax=$39.
Valid dates are 08/23, 08/24, 08/30, 08/31, 09/13, 09/14.
Just beware of their extortionate fees ranging from carry-on fees to hefty checked luggage fees and even a fee to get a boarding pass at the airport…

Also, overweight fees. Which begin at $25 for 41-50lbs.
I believe the boarding pass fees will not be in affect yet for these dates.
Ok i havent seen 39 dollars for a round trip…i put in to leave on Aug 24 and retunrn on the 30…4 people came out to 460 dollars…thats hardly close to 40 round trip…..not any kind of deal here!!!!!

I just booked with spirit from chicago to new york for $39 round trip.
But the second ticket for my wife $77.
They are very VERY tricksy. You really need to be on top of everything
Dan, I went on, about 10 minutes after you posted! There were 39 dollar fares, but it was one ways…NOT, roundtrip, as you posted.

There were (and still are some) $1 fares. Obviously they sell out though.
Sure took you a long time (18 hours) to comment if you had this issue 10 minutes after I posted the deal though?
When I posted the deal all of the cities had the $1 fares for all the dates I posted. I checked each and every one of them.
@Nechemia: I Personally booked 6 Tickets last night at 11:50PM for a total of $39 with taxes. You snooze you lose.
