British Airways has 10%-50% off Avios redemptions on flights to, from, or through London.
This sale requires ticketing by 11/21 and is valid for travel from 11/7/19-4/30/20.
Economy and Premium Economy tickets are 50% off, while business and first class tickets are 10% off.
Typically you want to avoid using Avios to fly BA as the fuel surcharges can be ridiculous, but those surcharges have been lowered in coach and with this deal there can be some worthwhile uses, especially if you only need a one-way ticket.
If you book a one-way flight to London with this sale you can also use miles with another airline to fly back from anywhere in Europe to US with lower taxes and no fuel surcharges. Note that London’s APD tax only applies for departures from London and not for connecting in London. It also doesn’t apply to kids 15 and under in economy.

well there is an old bug on the BA site making it display different tax amounts on the initial search result page, but once you continue on to the next page the tax amount raises, in this case of NYC-TLV it goes up to $234.1 unfortunately…

i only have a handful of avios in my account. can i transfer chase rewards points (I ave a sapphire reserve card) into Avios? If I transfer 50,000 points, would I get 75,000? does this make sense to do?

As I said, if you only need a one-way this is a great deal.
I picked some random dates (leaving 12 Jan, returning 23 Jan) and found that a standard economy seat is 23000 Avios plus $346. Booking with cash, it’s $413, including one checked bag. Certainly 23000 Avios are worth more than $67.
Considering this sale is 6.5K Avios each way, not sure what you’re searching for.
