We’re new at this.. so if someone can explain, it would be helpful. Is there a way to get to Tel Aviv from JFK or Newark with these prices and back? or that wouldn’t work. Not interested in driving to another city…. as that would be too time consuming and wouldn’t be worth it for us. Thanks!
No, not at this price. You can RETURN to Newark or JFK as it states above, but to get these fares you MUST depart from one of the cities mentioned.
Driving to boston or Baltimore is only about 4 hours.
You can buy a one way ticket to Boston for as low as $49 and then fly round trip to Tel Aviv for $593 (total cost = $642).
On the return trip collect your luggage in NY, go through customs, and continue out of the airport.
Great method for one who would like to fly from nyc, but remember to add on the fees for baggage going to these states for the flight.(assuming most ppl flying to tlv is going to have 1-2 bags per person.)
When you stop in JFK on the outbound flight, do you need to collect your luggage and recheck or is the luggage checked through from your original departure?
Checked through. Only when arriving from an international flight do you need to collect luggage and go through customs. On the stop outbound you are still landing from a domestic flight.
