WOW Air shut down overnight last week and several airlines made offers to get stranded passengers home.

If you purchased a WOW flight for travel between North America and Tel Aviv you can save 20% off an El Al ticket.

El Al’s Israeli office is typically more helpful than their US office, you can reach them at +972-3977-1111 in order to request 20% off a ticket if you have a WOW reservation.

You need to book the El Al ticket by 4/4 for travel through September.

Of course you’ll also want to make sure to contact your credit card to file a chargeback against WOW for your original ticket.

Elal being customer friendly… April Fools!

Tck

This is the best joke of the day.
Sadly, they do not know what customer friendly mean.

If I purchased a wow flight that I flew last year will I also get this 20% off?

Josh

How do they verify?

I was really hoping this deal would be the other way around. 20% of Wow tickets if you booked ElAl, of course after ElAl goes with the wind!

And the ripple affect of no ElAl would be felt how…? For Americans and Canadians= No more nonstops to Israel from Miami, Los Angeles, Boston, and (anticipated Chicago, Las Vegas & Orlando). Zero nonstop competition for Air Canada, United, Delta respectively from Toronto, Montreal, Newark, and JFK (and anticipated San Francisco). For Israelis= many nonstop destinations throughout Europe and Asia where ElAl is the only carrier. Yeah, I’m not in love with ElAl, but think about it for a few minutes. I’m sorry you can’t have 12 hour layovers in Iceland anymore with no kosher dinner. Where am I wrong?
