A flight from Rome to Israel is about 3 hours, so you can go to Israel for a week and still get this deal

No, but you can always find a cheap flight or train there.
Might have better luck trying multi-city Rome and Milan.

Wow- I was able to find this fare with Ryanair connection to TLV for $580 combined! That’s amazing. However I’m already holding a UA RT on the nonstops for 880, so with cancellation it doesn’t seem worth it. Although the food and stopover looks amazing! Hmm let me check out a June trip…
