It’s worth noting that you can save more if you have an AMEX Membership Rewards card like:

With those cards you can book via AMEXTravel.com and drop the price of Delta’s $881 fare to just $835 or 83,547 AMEX points. That’s just 54,305 points after rebate if you have a Business Platinum card!

Using Chase Points:

You can pay for the ticket with “hybrid points” such as AMEX or Chase points with a card that allows your points to be used at an increased value for airfare in addition to be able to transfer points into airline miles.

If you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve® card you can redeem points for 1.5 cents each towards travel. If you have a Chase Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card® Card or Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card you can redeem points for 1.25 cents each towards travel.

You can login to your account and redeem Chase points for travel here. The round-trip cost will be 58,733 points with a Sapphire Reserve. That rate include all taxes and you will still earn flight miles as well!

Using AMEX points:

You can login to your account and redeem AMEX points for travel here.

This is bookable for 83,547 points with AMEX with insider fares. Plus you’ll get back a 35% rebate with the Business Platinum Card or a 25% rebate with the Business Gold Card, dropping the total needed to as low as 54,305 points. That includes all taxes and you can still earn miles for flying!

Holy smokes – you can return on Air France in 1st through CDG for an extra $15… I can’t make it work, but do may 10-17 on Priceline. It allows you to select 16th through CDG on Air France Premiere! Wish I could swing that!!!

I’m sure it’s a glitch on the PL website. Probably because the first leg is domestic first. Don’t think it’ll actually be ticketed in AF Premiere

Yochai

Confirmed.
I just booked and the PL email I got says “first” but when I login on Virgin’s website it’s business

How are you getting these fares on Amex? I only see fares in the $2k and up range?

Vin

What if you have used up the airline fee credit this year and can’t change to selection to another airline? I’ve picked united this year. So, I can’t change to delta and get the rebate, correct?
