How do you have a sale when you no longer publish the regular price?
Excellent question, but Delta claims to have discounts on over 8,000 domestic routes and there’s no doubt that award space is much better than American.
You’ll need to search to find mileage prices and good luck finding rhyme or reason. Cleveland to Atlanta goes for 10K miles while nearby Akron/Canton-Atlanta is on sale for 7.5K miles
In general Delta now requires that you book award tickets 3 weeks in advance for the lowest rates.
Sale rules:
-Book travel by July 18.
-Travel between August 23, 2016-February 10, 2017.
-Blackout dates: September 1 – September 6, 2016, November 17 – November 28, 2016, December 14, 2016 – January 3, 2017.

I got 2 round trip tickets LGA-FLL 30k Miles (7500 ea leg), we flew 3 weeks ago.

Tried 6 different city pairs (and tried all reversed, too) in late September. Nothing under 25K.
Same Delta flim-flam crap.

August 14th – 31st, JFK/LGA to FLL one way, non-stop, only 7500 miles. Depends on which flight. Check it out
Dan – whats the best Avios redemption nowadays given AA has limited availability? Would you recommend transferring them to Iberia and using for Europe travel rather than domestic?
Think i posted on DDF, but JFk-YVR is only 19K RT. Isn’t that the best deal?
