I just trying to figure out how these raffles are making any money, with a 10k payout and a limited number of tickets being sold. I don’t get it.
$360 + 359 + 358 + 357 + … + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = $64,620
Total is actually $64,980. There’s a simple formula if you want to add up a string of numbers, rather than adding them individually. N(N+1)/2 so 360(360+1/2 is 64,980
