In case you missed it – Am Yisroel Chai is the 501c3 organization behind The Dream Raffle.  Am Yisroel Chai provides services that help via a myriad of crisis prevention services. To name but one of its many services, it provides critical assistance to farmers whose entire livelihoods have been destroyed through agricultural terrorism (think: burning kites, deployed by terrorists, landing amongst farmers’ crops and leaving mass destruction in their wake). The cause is more urgent than ever, and we can use your support more than ever before.

Watch Shmuel Sackett, founder of the organization, speak about its life-saving work:

Just curious on tax consequences–I love the idea of supporting a worthy organization, but 1) I believe that raffle ticket expenses can’t be deducted on US taxes as charitable expense,
2) I’m wondering what the consequences of winning a million dollar apartment would be on US and/or Israel taxes. I’m guessing I’d owe some serious tax….
