Call me old fashion, but when I give charity/Tzedaka I donate to worthy causes by writing a check for X amount. I know others graciously give calculated on their 10% of income earnings. I’m confused and frankly unimpressed by a game where one may give a $1 or $200+. Lastly, Shimon, if I ever have a feeling that there is a “risk” of giving, then I look elsewhere. Tzedaka is never a risk, lehavdil’ gambling at a poker table in Las Vegas is. I am sure this is a worthy cause, I am simply trying to give a suggestion so as to have a better understanding as it humbly doesn’t make sense to me.
