Help Bring Mikvah Home

You dream about getting away. Somewhere warm. Somewhere fun. Somewhere, that isn’t here. We get it, there really is nothing like the thrill of getting on a plane and the pure delight of landing in some far-off location. It’s a vacation for everyone!

Well, almost everyone.

For Jewish women traveling to Mikvah, it’s a monthly sacrifice.

Mikvah-observant Jewish women in remote cities across North America have had to travel hundreds of miles by plane, train or car to reach the closest mikvah. They’ve done this for years! Now, COVID has made access to a Mikvah that much harder. The distance, time, and cost involved hinders dozens of Jewish women from participating in the mitzvah of Taharas Hamishpacha. And for the women who manage the monthly trek, the toll it takes is paramount.

Today, this is all about to change.

7 Jewish communities, located in 7 remote locations across North America have joined forces to raise the necessary funds and build 7 Mikvaos. The Bring Mikvah Home campaign will ensure that Jewish Women have the chance to partake in the most sacred Mitzvah. No matter where they live!

You may not be traveling much due to the pandemic, but dozens of women in small Jewish communities still need to take a long, difficult flight every month to reach a Mikvah. $180 can get you a roundtrip flight from NYC-FLL, and for the same price, you can help build these 7 Mikvahs and change the life (and future tahara!) for hundreds of Jewish women and their families in remote cities across North America.

So, how bout donating your $180 Airfare (or any amount!) to Bring Mikvah Home? BringMikvahHome.org

Beautiful endeavor! Wishing all of you much Hatzlacha in building your own mikvaos really soon!

My sister-in-law is one of those intrepid women! If you can give even the cost of a single mikvah visit ($18 in most cities) that would be so appreciated! We’re really hoping they can avoid that dangerous drive in the future.
