Yeshivas Torah Ore was founded by Harav Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg Zt”l in 1960 in Bensonhurst, NY. The Rosh Yeshiva along with his son the current Rosh Yeshiva Harav Simcha Scheinberg relocated the yeshiva to Jerusalem in 1964 as the first American Yeshiva in Israel. Over the past half century, the Yeshiva has grown to a multifaceted institution with an active student body of approximately 800.
