Wow!!!
What kind of Kashrut it has?
Romanian is under the OU
Look at each item. I saw at least 1 item that was Bet Yosef.
Look at salami pic – ou glatt
Nice. Shipping is pretty expensive though
Where are you located? If you are in the east coast or midwest, shipping is relatively affordable. Rates are around $45 for a box that can hold 35 lbs and non-perishable items ship nationwide for $14.95 up to 24 lbs and free at 25. If you build a box with friends, it brings the cost/lb down. Please let me know how I help.
I know the guy
Great guy
Great service
Great meat
Thank you!
I think there is a chassidishe shechita as well. I live in Chicago and I’ve never heard of anyone from across the orthodox spectrum who wouldn’t trust the hashkacha.
I wish Romanian had a Chassidishe shechita, but they dont have one at this time.
Shipping costs are way too high! Otherwise, I’d totally place an order.
totally worth it
What makes it so good? Is it that much better than A&H? And which products are good?
Their regular pastrami is the best I’ve ever had, by a long shot!
Polish dogs were also great.
That’s all I’ve tried, I’m sure the rest of their stuff is also great.
Their chopped liver (not shippable but worth picking up on a Chicago trip) is the best liver ANYWHERE.
Chopped liver, as well as all of Romanian’s meat items, are skippable and offered on my site. Thanks
Please look at the must have tab on the website. Salami, whole pastrami, hot dogs, beef fry and a couple items are excellent. I have shipped to many people in New York, where they have endless options, and they are blown away by these items.
You can also get raw pickled brisket. Cook it for amazing corned beef.
Can I transfer points to UPS frequent shipper account?
Sorry, we dont offer this. Thanks

Is any of their meat beit Yosef?
I believe so- I think the nitrate free hot dogs. Possibly more.
Romanian sells beit yosef hot dogs that are nitrate free. There are some other items, but the menu is limited and subject to availability.
Is there any way to access this menu?
If anyone wants to split shipping costs Brooklyn/Lakewood

Is this deal only mail order or are they also having a sale in store?
Only through iwantromanian.com thanks!
I have heard about them but never had anything from them. What should I order that will make me understand why people are so crazy over their meat?
All you need to do is click on the “must have” tab and pick whatever interests you. Thanks for asking and please let me know how I can help
I understand that but was asking what specifically are the signature products that will make me a repeat customer?
Grew up in NY, live in Chicago now, their hotdogs are incredible.
If you’re from NY, order beef fry, whole pastrami, salami, a smokey snack, and hot dogs. People have different preferences and it’s hard to predict what you will like, but my NY friends love those items.
What about if you want to “try” one or 2 items to see how special your products are? Spending $45.00 on shipping is ridiculous. In order to encourage new customers, you should offer free shipping for first time orders.
Thanks for your comment. I dont make money on shipping and the cost is the same whether it’s 1 lb of product of 35 lbs of product. Dry ice is $10-15, my shipper is $13, add materials and shipping. Offering 25% in many cases has saved customers over that price anyway. My recommendation is to share a box with friends to keep the costs per lb down.

@jacob i took a look at yor bio on the website how do you manage to look so preppy working in a butcher store?
Ha! The manager and workers pack everything up nicely for me and I just pickup the orders and ship.
How long will the sliced deli last?
All of the deli comes vac packed, so you can keep them in the freezer for many months. Once thawed, I would consume within a week or two.
Is the tomahawk one single 3 lb steak?
Yes, that’s correct and I can make it larger or smaller and charge/deduct the difference on my end. Thanks for asking
is there any way to ship to Israel?
I wish there was a way, but I dont have a solution at this time.
I still don’t know if it is a chasideshe hashgocho. A&H tripled their sales when they got their chasideshe hasgocho.
If you get the hotdogs don’t boil them.
Is there EVER a time that you should boil hot dogs?
Some dogs you can boil and this isn’t one of them. Unfortunately you can’t eat a real Chicago Dog. I would like to try their salami.
Try the regular pastrami!
Not a pastrami type of guy but love salami.
That’s because you never had Romanian’s 😀
Never had their salami though, so let me know 🙂
Never!
Their salami is great! I know people from NY who go to a Chicago wedding and bring a small suitcase to take salamis back with them!
True story!: I was on the way back from Chicago ORD to EWR with a bundle of garlic sausages in my carry on (because I try to never leave Chicago before stocking up in Romanian). I was stopped by TSA who made a huge deal about a “chefetz chashud” in my carry on.
Turns out the agent thought my paper-wrapped sausages were dynamite sticks and sounded the alarm. I told the group of agents questioning me that if any of them live in Chicago they should go to Romanian and try out the garlic sausages and they’ll understand everything!
LOL
I’m honestly surprised that the agent didn’t know because there are so many Romanian salamis going in people’s carry-ons and they look like bombs.
This was about 8 years ago. Maybe they weren’t as famous back then.
Is this discount available for in store purchases?
Through iwantromanian.com and shipping only. Thanks for asking.
Do you ship to Canada?
