Just because that’s what you would do doesn’t make it what everyone else would do.
At the very least this is a portable hotspot for people who had to worry about data every time they needed to use internet out of the house.
For watching Netflix, obviously. Because there are no other uses.

I wonder. If you Google Maxsip Telecom, you end up on the EBB site. I don’t think you can get from more than one provider (but I may be wrong). The major internet providers weren’t offering the tablet so I wonder if taking this will disqualify you from the EBB on your internet.

They give 15GB
Because there exist (or did at some point) free services where you get 200mb free a month and it’s very not worth the hassle of asking for it in the first place.

Let’s all do our best to give incentives for people to sit on the couch. The new American way!! The more you work the more we take, the less you work the more we give. But I’m obviously privileged cuz why else would I not want people to take the money I earned and give it to someone else! Unbelievable!
I am not sure what century you are from but most people need tablets/computers to work.
Thank u . I need mine so I can get a job . I’m am disabled . So I can’t work a normal job . With this service I can work from home still provide for my self . I’ve been fighting for my disability for a couple yrs now . Covid has slowed down the process. But sense I can’t work a regular job this helps me still work from home . Makes me feel better Abt myself and I don’t have to worry I’m going to loose everything cause my disability is taking forever . This is why I need it not to live if ur tax payer money but to make my own money .

To all of those making comments about privilege or lack of necessity for this-
They are simply rude. Why voice your opinions which are unhelpful, and may hurt people? If you are coming from a perspective of religion-How can that possibly be something which Hashem wants? Words are more powerful than you can imagine, and I don’t possibly see how these comments can be coming from a place of empathy. If you don’t need it and can afford your internet, great. If you believe it’s morally wrong because of some ethical platitude you hold, great. But I really can’t wrap my head around posting comments which may be hurtful to someone coming from a place of need. I’m on food stamps and it’s not something which feels great. I have a degree, im currently working full time, and I’m going for my Doctorate, but I’m on food stamps because I need to be. I’ll use this for Netflix. But yknow what? The sentiment and feeling of receiving something goes a long way for those who are struggling. I’ll agree for the most part this is unnecessary and the aid can be better used. But that’s beside my point of please, for the sake of bringing klal Yisrael to a closer place, mind your words, and try to have the feelings of others in your comments here! Mine came.
It’s 4g pretty slow. But good for checking email and simple web browsing. Don’t expect anything speedy.
Do we know the monthly limit and when the service expires?

Has anyone had luck activating the hotspot? It looks like it’s literally just an old (Franklin T9) version of T-Mobile test drive which cannot be activated, and they stuck a sticker on it. Scam?
It sucks takes 30-45 minutes to load a web page and that’s the first day of using figured it’s the weather so gave it a month it’s gotten even slower. Can’t find anywhere to have the shut it off so I can try a different company. Waste of time and hope!
