A $50,000 campaign from an horrific tragedy and loss of life. Was medical insurance an option? Medicaid? I’m confused, the $50K is a form on consolation after the loss of a first born?!

Unreal

Have you had many children sick with cancer and then die?

How was your work life when that happened?

Could you be anymore insensitive and thickheaded if you tried? Just wondering…

$50,000, that’s it? Why not make it a million or two?

What dyu mean?

What they need is simchas (brissim, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, weddings of their children) and good health. $50K won’t bring back a child, and won’t solve their issues. Bill the medical claims to the health insurer. The father should apply for life insurance TODAY, to prevent any other hardship (God Forbid). *THATS* what they should be doing.

I know the family personally. Insurance wouldn’t cover the treatments they did for their son which entailed traveling overseas. Neither parent could work. So it’s possible there is a ton of debt incurred, besides the emotional destruction. He deteriorated so dramatically and so quickly it was just impossible.
