Author Topic: Sports Authority $100 for $35, or $60 for $11 Compilation (Read 12602 times)

Here's a small compilation of all the current sports authority deals.
Enjoy!

1) Get $20 off a $50 purchase from the AmEx Facebook Link, Like, Love (Exp 8/31/11).

2) Get another $20 off $50 from checking in on your iphone/android phone via Foursquare (Exp 8/31/11).

Then, depending on if you are spending $100 or less, you can either use:

3) $25 off $100 Purchase with an AmEx card Coupon (Exp 9/5/11)
or

4) 15% off Entire Purchase Coupon (Exp 9/9/11)

Note: Link, Like, Love, and Foursquare will give you Statement Credits, so they do stack with the coupons and they will not take away from Total Purchase (say, $100 Purchase for first coupon).

$100 - 20 - 20 - 25 = $35 or $60 - 20 - 20 - 9 (15%) = $11

So $100 for $35, or $60 for $11... Not too shabby!

Also someone showed me this QPN: $10 off $50 Purchase Coupon (Exp 9/30/11)

$100 - 20 - 20 - 25 = $35 , or $75 - 20 - 20 - 15% (11.25) = $23.75 , or $60 - 20 - 20 - 10 = $10

So $100 for $35, or $75 for $23.75, or $60 for $10... Not too shabby!

For Facebook Deal: Go to the page, Like the Deal, Link your Card, find the Sports Authority deal and select it. (You will have to click "See More Deals" on the bottom twice for it to show.)
For Foursquare Deal: Download the app and set up an account and link your AMEX card...then go to the store and check-in...you'll then have to add the deal to your card through the app. It takes 4 days for both credits to appear on your statement.

I got $75 for $10 using this coupon it's valid in limited locations I used it in Brick NJ. And I just checked and both the fb and fs credits posted and both worked on an au as well.

T&Cs say in store. Although if the credit works for gift cards you can buy one and use that online.

UPDATE:

I went to the Sports Authority in Brick NJ. Got $150 worth of stuff for $20!! (Rand up in 2 transactions). They didnt seem to mind at all that I was using 2 copies of the same coupon (in separate transactions) and I got 2 emails from AMEX instantly thanking me for using the Like/Link/Love promo and saying I'll get a credit soon!!!

I did the same and I didn't even have the coupon printout I just showed them the coupon on my phone and they typed in the numbers. Did you buy a gift card?

Only until 8/31 when the coupon, facebook promo, and foursquare promos end.

I think the deals expire at the end of August

You really shouldn't answer questions that were clearly covered in OP, you are only enabling them

...Anyway, does anyone know if after doing this with my Platinum card I could then register my Gold with another FB account (or even same one) and then do it again? Not like the wife case, I am talking that the credits would end up showing on the same statement.
