I did that on one card and myfico.com score dropped 15 points, since "you've used a credit card card not used in a long while" it recovered eventually after a few months, but just good to know.

Do you check your score every time you make a purchase. How do you know what caused it to drop?

i froze experian and reapplied for amex platinum and they asked me to unfreeze it. i asked if they could pull from a diff agency but said no

How do you feel about trying for the BA card (since you're in the thread) while your report is frozen? I wonder if Chase will also request an unfreeze or just hit another report.

once your trying why not go for the BA 100k or even better go for 3 Chase cards
