Looks like I'm in trouble with Chase. I'm flagged as a credit risk with too many inquiries in 6 months and it looks like they won't be approving anything for me in the near future. Time to take my business elsewhere for the time being...

She actually told me that (in my situation?) the three apps at once are seen as a credit risk, even when I explained I was doing it for the bonus miles.

Looks like my trigger-happiness will cost me 100k BA...

To add insult to injury I got three notices from Chase today, that they closed my accounts for inactivity :( 20k in credit lines down the drain.

Ugh, that stinks!
I should really spend $1 on all of my inactive cards.

+1000, everyone should, I believe this was discussed on DDF previously.

Yagaiti U'matzasi Ta'amin!

Do you think I should keep calling? Every time I call they immediately see the summary of the previous call(s). These credit analysts are not stupid...

Understood the first time around. I'm asking if it might apply to me too or would it be a complete waste of time.

sorry. But even if they have noted ur account it might still be worth it. If u can get one to understand u only did it for the bonus and your not actually a credit risk it might be beneficial to you.

K, just applied for this one and the United card at the same time 2 browsers and didn't get instant approval on either. So I called up and they said my application need further review... Anyone know if that's good or bad?

You said it a gazzilion times to one person or one time to a gazzilion people. All you need is one sypathetic rep to get things done . I have found that you try explaining it 3 times if its a no go ask for a supervisor or better yet hang up and try the next one. In general CSRs and naturally most people the more you challange the more defensive and harder to persuade they become.
