Hi,
I need little help. I am looking for opening the checking/savings account. I was trying to get capital one 40k deal but capital one is not able to confirm if I can get that deal or not based on the offer code. Then I was thinking that I can get $250 citibank offer, there I do not qualify because my wife has an account there and I am joint owner.

At this moment I am open to either cash or gift or SPG points or Delta Sky Miles, United miles or capital one miles or thankyou points (I may not qualify because I already have an account).

Does anyone know any best offer in this area?

What's the capitol one 40k bonus? Is that for a checking acct? And if yes what's the info/offer code?

I'd prefer 20k AA over $250 cash any day. Are the bonus requirements and account fees the same?

Reward checking, should be no fees, but I'll find out for sure.

How did you apply for Rewards checking. I do not see rewards checking at all?

The 25k officially expired but the rep on the phone said it went through so I should get my miles.
You have to have a min bal of 6000 to avoid $20 fees and has to be open for 5 months and the first (dep. On who u speak to maybe also the second) month the fee is waived in order to get the miles in the first 2 months you have to have either 1 bill pay 5 transactions (or 1 other thing I don't remember what it was) each month and than the miles post within 90 days after completing the requirements (one rep said it doesn't have to be open for 5 months but as soon as miles post you can close it, but no guarantees on that)

The capital one bonus requires a direct deposit what's the easiest way to get that direct deposit in the account (I don't work at all)

Did anyone have any luck with that promo?
And should I try to call again and maybe another rep will give it to me?

I was told it's listed on my account, I applied online. I'll believe it when I get them.
