Chase Continental Card Question
« on: August 27, 2008, 03:52:45 PM »
If my wife is applying for a Chase Continental Credit Card, can she just put my OnePass acount number on the application and received the miles into my account?

Alternatively, if she opens up her own OnePass account, is there any way to use the miles in both accounts in order to book a ticket?

You can't combine miles from different accounts, but I would guess that if she put down your number on the app that it would work.
If you do it be sure to let us know what happens!
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I called American Express and asked them how it is handled if the name on the CC doesnt match the name on the skymiles account (the premise I used was that my wife's Delta account is under her maiden name and she wants to apply for a cc under her married name) and i was told that Delta would probably reject it since the match was done on Delta's end- and i should call Delta to "update her married name" there. I dont know how they would handle a totally different name though.
