According to Dan: The nights post within a week of spending, regardless of statement close.
They expire 12-13 months from posting and can typically be extended by 1 more month by emailing Hyatt.

Go to Hyatt.com make a reservation, click book, and before cc page you will see offer for card with the 2 free nights PLUS $50 statement credit. Looks something like this

Anniversary nights appear in account before annual fee posts.

thanks...and do you know which suites they would give for a diamond at the PH paris? Would it be the Park Suite King? Any way to get better than that based upon availability?

I'm considering canceling the card before my first payment is due, so I don't have to pay the $75 fee, will I lose the 2 free nights award?

Yup, you can get the card and not use it though as it expires 1 year from when you use the card.

I am being tokd by the Hyatt people, that they are no langer matching status - true or keep trying?
All I have is a Hilton screen shot that says 0 poins & Gold status - will they live with that?
