Citi AA, 35,000 miles and first year free
« on: May 23, 2010, 08:58:01 PM »
I know most of those that have been around awhile on DD forums have had more Citi AA cc's than they can count but for first timers this is a great deal.

Thanks for the link! this is the first time i've seen a 35,000 mile offer
I'm annoyed b/c i doubt i will get approved because i just applied for the citi mastercard and the citi visa gaining 30000 miles each...
Do you think i will get approved for a THIRD citi aadvantage mastercard? (the amex?)
Do you know how long this offer will be around for?

I currently have 2 Citi AA mastercards.

Could i sign up for all three (in different browsers) and get 35k for each of them?

Also, im assuming i can still get the sign up bonus even though i have gotten them in the past?

If you get the cards you'll get the bonuses.

However they have very good systems in place to flag churners down and not give them the card, even if they are auto-approved online.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

What would you recommend a safe time to reapply a not hit their churn flag alarm?

Officially you need to wait 60-90 days between Citi applications.  If you apply for many at the same time often you can workaround that system.

It appears there is none anymore.

So which cards should i apply for at the same time?
And when you say same time, do you mean the i should push the send application button at the exact same second within all browsers?
Thanks very much for all your help so far!

I have a citi AA card that i got in Dec. and have been using since. just applied for another for the 35k offer and got approved right away and the email said the card will arrive shortly. I just got another email that says:
Thank you for applying for a Citi(R) Platinum
 Select(R) / AAdvantage(R) World MasterCard(R) account.

Please note the following regarding your application:

o   Our policy is to issue only one card per person on
an account.  Because of this, we will be unable to grant
your request for more than one card for the same
individual.  If your application is approved, we will issue a
card for you and a card for any additional persons
you may have listed on your application.  If you intended to
give a duplicate card to another person, please
contact us after your card arrives.  You can then request a
card for the other person, at no cost.

We are reviewing your request and you will receive a
response from us within the next 30 days.  We look forward to
having the opportunity to serve you.

 Sincerely,

 R. M. Pick
 Mgr., Consumer Credit Services

I dont understand what it means, on one hand he said theyre unable to grant more than one card for an individual, then it says if im approved theyll send me a card........???

Just got the 35k bonus, why can't you churn anymore if you can still get bonuses, you just cancel then reapply

Which one of the cards did you get the bonus for?
Have you had that exact card before?

Noone has been able to get the same AA card as they've had in the past for some time now...but now I'm off to try!

Are you going to try all at once or one at a time.
