I agree 100% and am a huge fan of their Prime Rib for 2.
But word on the street (not just from the disgruntled mashgiach) is that their are some 'issues' with the hashgocho.
This is what happens when goyim own kosher restaurants.

This is what happens when goyim own kosher restaurants.

Off topic, but a goy once owned a chinese restaurant in cleveland and many people said they wouldnt eat there because of that, regardless of it having a good hashgocha.

At some point he sold the restaurant to an "erliche yid" from a prominent local family.

At around the same time the local rabonim decided to consolidate all local restaurants under one hashgocha called "VKC."

One restaurant refused to pay the higher rates that the VKC wanted and the VKC announced a boycott against that restaurant, which eventually closed down.

At any rate, that chinese restaurant (now owned by a jew and under the VKC)  was found to be serving 100% traife meat from the local supermarket.

Neither the restaurant or the VKC survived...

(I was 10 years old when this whole incident happened, so I hope I didn't mess up too many facts here)

When I said goyim, I should also have said not-yet-frum yidden. Just because a person wears a yarmulkah and tzitzis, does not make him frum.

I certainly would not consider a person who serves treif meat in his supposedly-kosher establishment a frum-yd (although we may all percieve him to be).

Nobody knows whats in a persons heart.

Which brngs me to my final comment- I know a Rav who does not eat in any restaurants, and only eats chickens and meat from a shochet who he knows personally. It certainly makes sense to me why he does this. I used to work in restaurants and and you see what (can) go(es) on there.

when hearing word on the street, one must keep in mind that there are many disgruntled people in this world who will be that way no matter what happens. I am sure that many of you have been online enough to know for your selves that some of there people thrive off of any possible scandal. Some also seem to have a personal axe to grind with R' Belsky. Oftentimes the word on the street can be traced directly to them. This does not answer all aspects of the OU, and there are various different OU products that don't enter my house. This may surprise you, but R' Belsky himself says it is worthy to be stringent regarding a ruling of his which is relyed upon to certify Pringles. In any case, I think that his detractors felt they found an easy one here with the mashgiach backing them up, and that the word on the street can be traced to them.
Feelings don't care about your facts
