I’ve always enjoyed the automatic 5% discount at Fedex and ATT, now Amex business open savings has just added 2 airlines-Delta and Jetblue!
There’s nothing to enroll in and no codes to use, every time you use your amex business card to buy a ticket from these airlines you will automatically receive a credit to your next months credit card bill!
Jetblue Business Amex
When you use the Jetblue Amex business card you will get 5% back, if you use any other Amex business card (e.g. Starwood, Delta) you will get 3% back.
The Jetblue business card will be profiled soon, but in summary it costs $40 a year, and you get $50 for signing up along with a 25 trueblue signup bonus after the first purchase, plus now you’ll save 5% on all Jetblue tickets!!!
Delta Business Amex
When you use the Delta Amex business card you will get 5% back, if you use any other Amex business card (e.g. Starwood, Jetblue) you will get 3% back.
The Delta business card will be profiled soon, but in summary it is free for the first year, and subsequent years are $85, but you get 15,000 miles as a signup bonus after the first purchase, plus now you’ll save 5% on all Delta tickets!!!
Starwood Business Amex
While you only save 3% on Delta and Jetblue with the Starwood card it is the cheapest card to have (first year is free, subsequent years are $30) but you will get 10,000 Starpoints (currently the most valuable mileage currency) for signing up and you will earn more miles per dollar spent with this card then the other Amex business cards. It also has many more side benefits than the other cards.
So, which card to get?
They are free for the first year, will give you a nice amount of miles, and now will save you money each time you fly on Delta and Jetblue! Unless you’re buying a house next month get all 3!
To get an Amex business card, just give a name to your own business and leave the Tax-Id field blank if you dont have one!
