I’ve recently started using Google to accept credit card payments, and all i can say is that its a really great service.
Advantages:
-The cost of paypal is 2.9%+.35, while google is 2.5%+.25
-The interface for buying is much simpler and cleaner.
-You can list items for free at Google Base.
-All money you collect is transferred directly into your bank account within 48 hours!

According to google the beta payments system is just, “starting with a very small number of sellers,” but i got accepted fairly quickly.
