Just booked in Feb for anniversary, Thanks @Dan!

Seth

When searching on hotels.com I see that a lot of hotels are deep discounted on those dates.

eli

thanks dan!

Welder

App seems to blocking new reservations.

Joe

I can’t find any superior queen rooms

Jack

I am an IHG member and it still says cancellation will result in forfeit of deposit (which is the whole amount of the reservation)

Miriam

One of my favorite places to stay in NY, but truthfully each of the Intercontinentals are great.

Miriam

Woops, didn’t realize they have two in NYC…did not try this one, usually at the Times Square one which is beautiful. I did notice that the rooms in NYC are smaller than their general rooms in other cities, but maybe because real estate prices in Manhattan are so high.

M

Great deal, but then I have to stay in New York.
Cleveland Rocks!!

Pete

For the record this hotel doesnt have a pool. Dont know how important that is to anyone, but its a deal breaker for me. 🙂

heywhen

would love to reserve during the big snow storm. want to guess dates of the next blizzard

@Jack:
Scroll down, you are selecting the wrong rate. I was able to modify my reservation and chose the correct rate.

Sean

@Pete,

Exact same reason I opted not to book.

feb 5 is supper bowl!!!!!!!

Jake

Why not get the IHG credit card and you will get a free night each year which can be used at the Intercontinental, which is a better savings than even this deal. Free is still king!

john

Dan, respectfully there’s not much reason for anyone to hurry. Pricing has been like this for weeks.
Those winter dates are a particularly slow period for nyc hotels. Most properties massively drop rates starting week after NYE.
This particular IC is having major problems filling rooms and recent reviews are subpar.
Elite recognition and benefits here suck.
Lots of hotels are similar prices for most dates once you account for how day-location correspond to price in NY. Hilton Times Sq is $108+tax, Hilton Fashion district $87+tax.
It’s possible there will be a self-creating prophesy where bloggers mistakenly thinking there’s a deal dry up room inventory and IC jacks, but you’ll still be able to book comparable level hotels for the same price.

@jake what happens if you want to stay for more then one night???

Dan

@john:
First off, JJ authored this post, not me 🙂

But either way, I’ve never seen this property for this cheap except during a prior price mistake.

@roya es hanolad:
Minor details 😉

Jaker

@Jake: There is a hidden cost to credit cards, there are way better credit card options than the IHG card
