Avrohom

Limited to one per a household , meaning that can use the same credit card over and over again and send to different household ?

MIMB

is this not the same as DCL club?

mois

Well, I never did this before. I decided to sign up and make two accounts. This way I can order two coins. They did not ask for any addresses yet. I guess tomorrow from 12-2 I should be visiting the site and filling in my shipping information. I will use the same credit card for both accounts but use different addresses. Is this a big package? Does it need to be dropped off somewhere? Or can Fedex or whomever pick it up from my house?

Chaim

@Avrohom
I asked this question on the chat on usmint.gov and they wrote that if either the billing address or shipping address are the same as a previous order it will be cancelled.

Dan

@Avrohom:
Try and let us know 🙂

@MIMB:
No.

@mois:
Small package.
Dropoff at any Fedex or shipping center.

@Chaim:
I’ve ordered for multiple addresses in the past where the billing address doesn’t match the shipping address and it worked.

DANIEL

WONDERING THE SAME THING ABOUT CC? ^^^

Judgedak

How does PFS pay the $523?
By check?
And how long do you have to wait for payment?

Yossi

Do you need to be signed up prior to the coin going on sale or can you buy it tomorrow and then sign up?

Jewish-links.com

Did anyone try this before and it worked?

Dan

@Judgedak:
They pay by check or paypal shortly after they receive the coins.

@Yossi:
You need to signup and commit beforehand.

@Jewish-links.com:
They have advertised on DD several times without any issues reported.

aaron

i did it once before. they paid right away once they received my coins via paypal.

Stephen

Will the order be flagged if a billing address is used twice?

Yankee

Which coin is it that will work for this deal? Link?

DH7

@Dan:
Has anyone tried VGCs on USmint.gov?

Anonymous

@Dan: I understood they meant that you can’t use either the same shipping address or the same billing address twice. NOT that they need to match, you can definitively use different billing and shipping addresses.

Skeptical

Is this legit or a scam? How much are they making off the deal? I’m skeptical…

Dan

@Skeptical:
It’s legit. They’ve done it many times already without issue.

Dave

@Dan, have you tried this yourself? If no, why not?

FirstTimer

When I tried, they are offering $520, not $523.

Dan

@Dave:
I have.

@FirstTimer:
If you use the code in the post you’ll get $523.

Ed

Once you opt-in I assume you are guaranteed a spot and that your orders will be bought. If, the orders aren’t bought I assume I can just cancel the USm order quickly. Since the standard shipping time is 2 to 3 weeks, have others found that they might get their check within 1 month of the initial order?

Dan

@Ed:
Yes, it is guaranteed and you should have payment by then.

wolf

did it a few times and got paid

Ben

@Chaim: I use the same billing and shipping for my two accounts. I differentiate them with Apt 1 and Apt 2. Worked every time

Anonymous

@Ben: wow, that’s actually groundbreaking

DH7

@Ben: That’s huge, thanks for letting us know. Do you stop at 2 based on checkout time/difficulty?

Ben

@ben, if you tweak your billing address slightly, won’t it get rejected by USmint? Thanks

George

USmint site overloaded

slow

site is realllly slow – not really working for me. Anyone else with same issue?

anthonyjh21

Well this is frustrating….

David

Site is crashing during checkout. 🙁

Menachem

Yup, website keeps crashing

YY

How long would it ship?

Jason

Waste of TIme….Keeps freezing

David

The mint site is down, at least for me.

anthonyjh21

Took me 11 minutes but finally got my order through. If it keeps timing out I’d recommend clicking the link to the product page and then clicking cart to get back to the checkout page. May the Coin Gods be with you.

David

Finally got 2 orders through. after clicking finalize in part 3, I had to do part 4 before it actually finished loading. there is about 5 to 10 seconds before it errors out.

JJ

Keeps on crashing

TS

Thank you. Was able to get one and already input info to PFS

Bil

Finally got one, only took 18 min! =]

Malka

B”H! Power of dansdeals… Order done!

Andy Shuman

Quit complaining, LOL. Keep clicking, going back, clicking again, yelling at the screen through the process. Got 1 confirmation, the other says processing, so fingers crossed.

Menachem

Got it, after about ten tries…

Andy Shuman

Actually, got the confirmation for my first order when they site crashed after placing. So keep trying and don’t order twice for the same address/credit card. Thanks Dan!

Kabukijuul

Got it! Took much longer than usual though. Just keep trying.

Coinzz

For those doing multiple orders, is it one US mint account with multiple addresses and multiple credit cards or do you have different accounts (separate log in and PW) set up for each?
Thanks

Tovi

Any ideas why they are willing to buy these coins and send you back a small profit? Is it do add your info to a database they market? Wondering because I get a lot of junk phone calls already.

Elie

Opt-ed in. Placed the order and everything seems very straight forward. Thanks Dan! – Plus great deal for first purchase on my new Sapphire Reserve card that got to me yesterday.

G

Do you think Chase will be suspicious when they see everyone charging $489.95 on their Sapphire Reserves?
Is there ever a promo code for the US Mint site?

Seth Kent

Email from the mint saying “Your order will require an adult signature upon delivery.” That’s pretty annoying as I didn’t see this listed anywhere, I had shipped to my house where it’s unlikely I will be able to sign for during business hours. You also cannot change delivery address after order.

moshe

I think this worked… I have no idea…I signed in to the Mint as a guest….Not sure if I was supposed to do that!

ahchiu

opt-in is full

Shloyme

So what’s the deal here–why are they paying more than market price?

Joe1234

I did ups ground shipping. Is that ok?

Zev

What’s the name of this coin that went on sale?

PFS Buyers Club

Please email pfscoins@gmail.com any questions or concerns.
Thanks!

Eugene

Is this still live? looks like it’s still in stock, I ordered one to my home address. Wondering if I should order another to my work?

tzvi

did anyone have success getting paid?
there are still coins available at the mint for reg price
why does pfs want to pay extra to us?
they didnt sell out

hope

Any chance this is still working?

PFS Buyers Club

@tzvi:

@Tzvi, Everybody is going to get paid… we just started getting our first ones in – a handful yesterday and a bunch more today. We’re paying extra because it’s 1 per household, and my buyers need quantity.

@Hope – We are not accepting more opt-in or orders at this time.

Jeremy

I received my payment quickly. However, I used my Fidelity Visa (part of the $100 if you spend $2000) and I received no points for the mint purchase. They classified it as a cash transaction. However, there were no cash advance fees. Don’t know if other cards are better about giving points/credit. Dan do you have any data points?
