Though the post states that prices are valid only JFK to TLV, I am glad to be the first to ask “Are these prices valid also TLV to JFK?”

just checked jun 27 to jul 5 nonstop 1092!

flying and returning dates has to be from the dates posted above ?

Why is aug 7-20 leaving saturday morning 12:30AM $811 but the one leaing 8/21 sunday morning at 12:30AM is $1100 RT.. Anyway to get it to $811?

@eli and others, not every single departure and return will yield 811, but many will–you have to look at the +/- 3 days feature on your flight search engine.

@ mench it is never worth to cancel Elal as it comes with a stiff fee, usually $250, and unless you paid over $1600 it is not worth your headache let aside you must make sure to have this deal first then try to cancel ur existing resa with Elal

@tony You absolutely right the only returns left for the last weeks of august at this price are the friday day flights and Saturday flights all others are $180 more. I guess Delta is trying hard to fill those 3 empty airplanes

Dan, could you comment on the following “hidden city”. I tested leaving from PHL to TLV and United teamed up with AMTRAK to bring people to Newark. I would much rather leave Newark. The price was much cheaper than if I would leave Newark directly. The train is “operated” by United. Can i use this as a hidden city and board in Newark? Thanks! Shlomo

@Shlomo: No. Reports on flyertalk are that you must board the train or risk not being able to board the flight in EWR. You don’t need to take the train on the way home though.

Any way to work this into a deal for kids going to Israel for seminary (i.e. return at end of year, instead of returning in September)?

NOTE! Most available flights now are leaving or returning on Shabbos! Also be careful with return flights from TLV. The Sat 12:30 am flights are early Shabbos morning flights, leaving and arriving on Shabbos, NOT early Sunday flights.
