Can’t figure it out- does is this a freestanding system? I don’t have any under cabinet lights in my kitchen, can I just place this strip under and have lights? Where does it plug in?

This appears to be the older generation of light strips without the white led. The lightstrip plus is their newer generation. Still a great deal if you don’t need the newest generation.
