The YYZ-LGW is operated by Rouge a subsidiary Carrier from Air Canada
They have a different on board product from the mainline
this should be a great option for Cleveland! It’s about a 3-4 hour drive to Toronto(closer then NY)
Sruly — you can use Avios to fly NYC-YYZ and then fly off to England.
Also, note that Air Transat is known as Air Transcrap here in Canada. And Air Canada rouge is like travelling in a shoe box. NOT fun.

@Dov: its a whole lot worse. Planes are old , and seats are crammed together. I flew with Rouge on a 5 hour flight and it was painful.
Its USA$ for $33 more you can go to Heathrow.

It is worth it. Rouge is Air Canada’s no frills subsidiary. Generally, same rates but they stuff you in and cheaper seats and no inflight TV’s etc. They use these routes to high traffic, vacation like destinations like vegas, MIA, Orlando etc
Way in is LHR back out LGW you can still get it for $534US
Didn’t read all the details, but I’ve flown air transat…. You couldn’t pay me to fly them again…
I beg to differ about air Transat. We flew them to Florida a number of years ago , and we loved it. Great service , had complementary activity kits for kids. My children still reminisce about it.
I flew Rouge before and while seats are tighter, everything else was similar to AC. No TV but you connect to their entertainment system with your own tablet or phone.
