BEWARE!!!! They are a terrible Airline. They allow 2 free checked bags but will drive you nuts about your carry-on. They only let us bring a knapsack on the plane as a carry-on, the rest they put underneath the plane. My wife tried putting as much as she can into the knapsack but forgot to take out her wallet. When we landed, she looked through the carry/on and found her wallet opened and all the cash gone ($850)!! We called and complained but they never did anything about it. I will never fly with them again!
i just used this airline TLV-JFK-TLV, they let me only 1 checked bag.
i called them over the phone, didn’t help. only ONE CHECKED BAG

Anything for the summer from nyc
there are no options to add an infant. any suggestions?
My Husband and I discovered Aeroflot a few years ago. We only have had good experiences(Ok old movies, so what)with them and now only fly with Aeroflot. We always got 2 bags,both Jfk-TLV or TLV-Jfk. We did a 10 hour stopover in Moscow, very interesting, even have Starbucks.
For other dates when this sale doesn’t apply, you can also get a Round trip Aeroflot NYC-TLV for 60K Starwood points when you book it with SPG flights and that includes taxes! no blackout dates!
That’s pretty good value especially Pesach when flights are astronomically high and availability is low for other mileage programs.

I just booked on cheap o air for August for 620 per person on Azerbaijan airlines from jfk to tlv
We flew Aeroflot last summer with 3 kids and had an 9 hour stopover 1 way and have a good experience. There is a ‘mother and child’ center (you need to ask how to get there) in the airport which there is a playroom and a sleeping room with bathrooms and even showers! My husband and I rested on the couches while my kids played. There’s an urn and microwave as well.
Very good experience with it, as long as you have a child you can go in for free.
The air planes are NEW and nice (food is OK), just customer service sucks. So if your willing to take the chance on now being compensated on anything if something goes wrong, its worth the price!
I just booked for 3/1 -3/6 for $522.19. I took them before and found that their ground customer service to be really good. As far as meals, from TLV to JFK, the kosher option I had was the same meal served 3 x. (1 Tel Aviv Moscow and 2X Moscow JFK).

i just booked a flite from tel aviv to jfk & return thru priceline via air france for 541.99. on priceline it stated does not include luggage fees yet it gives the air france luggage policy which states that the first bag is free and second bag $100. thanks
fwiw, after i sent an ita matrix message to my travel agent, she sent me back tlv-jfk feb 2 -6/7 with alitalia all the way for 590 USD
and then, she sent me a NONSTOP FEB 3 – 6/7 tlv – ewr (which is much better for me) ELAL 816 USD
