How long do I have to cancel with expedia?

I tried booking on cheapoair and as it was processing it would come back and say the price was just raised, I missed the cheap seats and then the phone would ring and some one from cheapoair would try to sell me more expensive tickets. Anyone else have this happen?

@Marissa: Check Google flight search flights.google.com search one way at a time and try with Fort Lauderdale which is very close to Miami and may have cheaper flights

Do you know if these rates are good for Dec 29/30 leaving Tel Aviv to NYC, returning Jan 6 or 7th. I tried both sites and it seems it doesn’t honor the cheap rates for this configuration of dates. Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks.

You might want to mention that although cancellation is free for 24 hours on Expedia.com, if you do decide to cancel within 24 hours they will not refund the $7 per ticket “ticketing fee”. (as this is a multiple airline itinerary)

Also, might want to note that people take close note of booking on Cheapoair, as many of their itineraries will involve changing airports in London.

@KH: i got for pesach from 4/12-5/9. could be it’s sold out already for those dates . it wasnt working for right before to right after pesach. u needed to give extra time before and after.

@Ellen: it WAS available Pesach time with 2 hour stopover. However, that is gone. Now it’s available for this price with a 12 hour stopover on the way into NYC. Or you can pay $711 for a shorter stopover. It’s getting harder to find availability now as people are booking. Also, these tickets are with a stop in LHR. This is not a non stop.

@Eli: I paid $500 for adults and $408 for kids. My brother paid $460 adults and less for kids. The earlier you booked these tickets the less you pay. this deal has been on the forums since Thursday afternoon so I booked on Thursday when thre was open availability.

Has anyone had experience with the Heathrow-Luton transfer? Anyone done it with children? The $500 tickets available for my dates have a 3.5 hr stopover and the shuttle’s website recommends a minimum of 4.5 hrs for this transfer. And
you need to p/u your luggage and check it again?

Bought via Cheapo and ticketd via Virgin stock… …TLV- LHR- JFK etc… Elal is advising me that the ticket has errors and that certain fees were “skipped” by Virgin… Elal does not see the booking in their system and as such will NOT be sending the checked in luggage all the way to JFK but only to London.

Is this possible?

@Estee: I almost booked last night, but when i realized about the transfer airport part, i knew it would be risky with a 2.5 hour layover. Especially with check out/ check in your luggage again and a 35 mile trip to Luton from Heathrow…
