Chicago- Shallot’s Bistro restaurant is closed.They are reportedly moving in the former Boston Blackies space in Skokie attached to the Doubletree Hotel (Skokie).

Da Nali’s has closed too as you noted. Unfortunately kosher Chicagoans don’t know how to eat out.

Slice of life is still open as is Main. Danalis is closed, there is rumor that someone may take it over. Shallots is supposed to be moving to new temporary location.

How do you switch the gift card?
You better call the restaurants first. Orchidea in Brooklyn told me you first need to spend $70 before using the coupon. Check their price list online – you have to overspend to get to $70, especially if you want a couple of good salads. I called Mendy’s and they said you need two mains, each at a minimum as well (I don’t recall the exact amount), but an amount I would never reach if I went there on my own without a coupon. It’s a great offer, but check with the places first. BTW, mine were in Brooklyn.
