My daughter and a friend are planning a trip thus summer to Italy and Spain.
Perfect timing, they just booked 5 intercity trips around Italy for half the price of a subway ride in NY!
Why British pounds and not euros?
Would anyone know which would be the most practical order for someone wanting to visit Pisa, Padua, Florence, Rome, Venice and the Dolomites?
Also, which station would be nearest to the Dolomites?

Wow! This is great! We will be in Milan in September…. and wanted to visit Padua (and then on to Bassano) …. we were going to train down to Parma, so trying the MegaBus for a Euro is a great deal.
@cook – having visited most of those areas, what you are proposing would best be done in two trips – unless you have a month. The Southern/Western side of Italy has its’ own charms – Rome to Orvieto to Florence, Pisa and Perugia would make a great trip.
If you are going to visit the northeast then it makes sense to maybe start in Venice, visit Padua, Bassano, the Dolomites and maybe through Verona on the way back to Venice.
(we are doing some of that this time – Milan, Padua, Bassano, the Dolomites)
