It doesn’t really matter because there’s little to no chance that this will be honored.

how can they legally not except this as a legal order any lawyers out there?

If the price says that, aren’t they obligated to honor it? its their fault that it was up there to begin with! Their problem, not ours!

The orders are filled by computer. If reasonable numbers were ordered, probably at least some would be shipped before some human becomes aware of the glitch and cancels it. But with so many ordered, they surely do not have this many in stock, and it will flag some human very soon. Since today is Sunday and nothing is being shipped, this will probably be noticed and cancelled before anything ships out. Time will tell.

Question: is it possible they could fill the order and bill our credit cards the full price? And if they do that, what recourses do we have to avoid paying the shipping if we return the chairs?

I Ordered 2 times 10 on different names and address, will see what happens!!!!! And got email conf on both orders!!!!

They don’t have to ship you idiots its all sunject to availablity which means they can cancel every ordrer and say its out of stock

If the compputer made the mistake, and no one catches it in time, the order will be sent to the warehouse where the people are unaware of the price and whose job it is to ship any incoming order. This had happened once before and the people that ended up getting the chairs were the last ones who ordered before the price was fixed. They ship them out in reverse order in order to increase warehouse througput.

Unfortunately, all those idiots who ordered ten or more don’t remember the last time you had an offer like this (e.g. cheap snow blower). When people order ten each it rigs a red flag. So, as you said, it probably won’t work!

Got email confirmation! Then called customer service and they said item is discontinued and not available. Oh well…..

For all you guys that think that they legally have to honor it, believe me, they most probably have some legal stuff on their website releasing them from responsibility.

I just got off the phone with them. They say that they must pay upto 10.00 per chair if they do not have it in stock. That is 500k. the joke is on you!!!

This deal is discontinued and not available, Tried to order 5 and then called office Max before I placed order and they said it is discontinued. It will let you process the order but you will not get any chairs

i tried ordering another cheap item with the chairs, and the shipping jumped from free to $35.00 (when i tried putting the other item in alone the shipping was only $7.00) i was afraid to order it with the other item because when they cancel the chair order because its discontinued they will still send me the pens and charge me the $35.00, so i ordered the chairs alone and well see what happens

I just called and asked if they have this item in stock and he said no. I told him that my order went through on the computer, so he said its a clearance item and if my order went through they probably have in a different warehouse and will ship it to me.

I ordered 5 and got order confirmation maybe you have better chance with a few orders.
