Looking For A Website Techie…

Well I think we can all agree based on the increasing downtime of the site that Dansdeals.com has officially outgrown shared hosting sites. I’ve tried a couple of them already and there’s just too much traffic.

If any website techies out there would like to help me find and migrate to a new hosting solution it would be much appreciated by myself and the thousands of daily Dansdeals readers.

Please send an email to to offer your help in exchange for some free advertising of your services or a year of free Dansdeals concierge services!

Thanks!

GoDaddy is definitely NOT the way to go. They overload their servers and do not support high volume websites. They specifically state in their TOS if you use too much of the servers resources they simply disable your account without notice.

Have you enabled caching on your WordPress site? You may not need to switch so fast.

I’ve always been a little nervous about using WPSuperCache after reading about compatibility issues, have you used it before?

The one you want is W3 Total Cache: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/w3-total-cache/ It includes everything to make a blog run faster. I’ve used it with no problems (admittedly not on a site this popular).
