Looks like they changed the terms of the deal mid-way through the promotion. The contest now ends March 18 rather than March 22. Dan, you should call them out on this!

Just got this email:

It’s been quite a week – over 100,000 participants and 180 free bikes! While all free bicycles have been won, you can still earn store credit for the next two hours.
Look for an email on Monday, March 23rd with instructions about how to collect your rewards*.

However, your final reward level is calculated based on valid email addresses only – removing bounced emails, emails with invalid domains, duplicate emails, multiple email addresses for an unique individual, non-personal emails (e.g., info@, support@), emails with invalid symbols, and emails sent by spam bots or other automated programs.

Yeah, they changed the terms of the contest, ending it early. They also limited the number of free bikes – something that was never mentioned before. They changed the FAQ with the new date, but the Terms and Conditions page still says March 22. It’s a mess.

If I get 99 but not bike due to the change in terms I wonder if I still have a claim to a free bike….

…..and here is their reply. Buying time until 3/23 to figure out what their public response will be:

Haha this company is such a scam. Once they realized ppl were making up fake email addresses they pulled the deal.
