    Wasn’t able to remove the $25 prepaid airtime phone card from my cart…
    Also, if you are not planning on taking out your SIM card from your current phone, how can you activate the phone without an airtime card?

    In your shopping cart right next to where it says ” $25 Prepaid GoPhone airtime card” there is a “remove” option.

    Just under that “remove” option it says:
    “NOTE: For your convenience a $25 airtime card has been automatically added to your cart so you can use your Pay As You Go service immediately. The $25 airtime card is non-refundable and non-returnable. If you do not want to purchase the $25 airtime card at this time, you can remove it from your shopping cart.

    It works for me.
    Try clicking on a phone link above and click on “my shopping cart”
    This will bring a pop-up with your cart from where you can also try removing the $25 airtime card.

    If that doesn’t work maybe try using a different web browser (IE/Firefox/Chrome)

    Can I take the Motorola EM330 for example, to Israel and stick in a cellcom sim card, or is it locked for At&t only?

    @Mo:
    Cellcom uses GSM1800 so it will work just fine, but you will need to unlock it first.

    It seems like unlock codes are selling on ebay for about $1.99 or there are many stores that can unlock it for you.

    Thanks Dan.
    One more question I have, since you travel there often:
    I own a cellcom prepaid sim card,so am i better off buying minutes over there, or is it cheaper to just rent a phone from here like amigo or something and pay them for their phone and minutes?

    @Mo: Usually it will be cheaper to add minutes in Israel. Orange Bigtalk used to have a deal for calling US using 013 calling card. They would charge a dicounted rate per minute for the airtime to call calling card (you had to dial *3013) I do not know if it is still going on.

    @Dan/Ctownbochur:
    I used Barak calling cards (013) which are cheaper per minute as you go up in units purchased. I don’t remember exactly but I do remember that it was under 20 agurot a minute (17?) to the us billed in less than a minute increments (units).
    As far as airtime, this is what I’ve found on http://www.orange.co.il/bigtalk/
    ?????? 31.1.10 ???? ????? ????? ???? ???”? ??????? big talk:

    ????? ??? ???? orange ?????? ???”? ??????? ???? ?????
    (?????? ???????? ???????) ????? ?-29 ??’ ????.
    Which means that the price is going up to 29 agurot a minute (when I was in Israel it was 19).
    This all comes to a total of approx. 36 agurot a minute outgoing or 9.6 cents at today’s rate.
    It does sound like you may be able to get similar deals from other calling cards which have access numbers available that Begin with “*”.
