All of these GPS units have text-to-speech which means that they will speak street names. A cheaper GPS without this feature is basically useless which is why I never post a deal on them.

The lifelong traffic on the 265wt and 765t is lifelong.
The ones with 9 month MSN traffic (285, 780) will no longer get MSN from 01/01/12 and on.

The 265 and 285 are the same besides for the 285 having 9 months of MSN and the 265 having lifetime traffic.

The 265 is $30 more than the 285…you’ll have to decide for yourself if the traffic is worth that.
Dan, 1 more difference i noticed is the 265 is much more compact then the 285, although both have the same size screen.
