Can I buy visa GC with staples GC?

Mark

“Can I buy visa GC with staples GC?”

In your (and everyone’s) dreams 🙂

Pawtim

CAUTION!!!
I ordered CVS GCs from them 37 days ago, they charged me, and I still don’t have the cards!
Now they don’t respond to repeated emails, calling them is useless — I was on hold for over an hour and then got disconnected before ever talking to a person.

This company seems like a complete and total scam! Absolutely unresponsive. I see little choice but to file a formal complaint with the CFPB. Should also refer to NJAGO.

I have bought several cards from them and was never disappointed. Its a great service that this business provides.

Thenewguy

@Pawtim: their phones are getting hammered after their recent Walmart deal. They’re backed up. Have no doubt they’ll sort you out if you wait a little

Abe

Me too. I have ordered numerous cards and always received about 1-2 weeks later

Pawtim

@Thenewguy: I’ve waited 37 days! How long should I “wait a little”? It’s absurd.
And now, with this “extra 5% off” promo, they’re trying to lure more people in! If they were legitimately hammered or backed up — and if they had any dignity for themselves or respect for their customers — they would be working to correct their errors.

Even when I called at 9:45 and 10:30 AM Monday, their phone system said “Our office is now closed”.

These are scumbags!

Buyer beware!

hay dan are there still ebey gift cards for sale

sun365

Is checkout by Paypal only?

Aaron

Currently I get 5% off with my Home Depot card when I purchase at the store. I wonder if I can get the 5% off plus the 8% reduction listed above.. Any idea Dan?

Caution !!
I ordered $2000 in sears gift cards, I received 4 sheets of paper with bar-code, number, and pin. Each with value of $500. When I checked online at sears.com it shows them all as having exactly $0.0.
I tried calling Cardcash, and after holding for a while they told me that I am number 63 in queue. At this point I think it will be quicker to dispute with credit card.
I should have heeded other peoples warnings here.

Jack

@sun365:
Which phone number you used to call?
@Pawtim:
My own experience for reference: I mailed roughly $20,000 to ABCgiftcards.com(currently CardCash.com) to sell and did not get paid and tried to contact them and never heard back from them. I admire Dans blog and is a big fan of him. I do have hard time to understand why he promotes CardCash.com so much when CardCash.com acts as a scam. When there is no choice left to contact them, the best is to seeking legal procedure(including lawsuit) and that is what am forced to do so even it is a dreadful battle.

Jack

@Pawtim:
Would you mind tell me what is NJAGO? I filed complain to CFPB too and want to follow your suggestion also refer to NJAGO. Thanks.

Tanya

This company is a nightmare.
I would not recommend buying from Card Cash. I ordered from them, they charged my account, and never sent the cards. It took a very long time to get any response from them and eventually I had to dispute it with Amex.

Mike

Where’s Dan when we need him?

Fay Weinberg

Ordered 4 American Airlines gift cards valued at $551.00 for $506.00 for a upcoming trip that I have on a 24 hour hold with American Airlines. It’s been more than 2 hours and I still have not gotten them via email. After reading all these posts I am getting a bit nervous that I may never get them. Good thing they were charged on my credit card. If they don’t show up tomorrow I am disputing the charge.

Dan's the Man

There website was down today. Now it’s up but I tried a few different gift stores gift cards and they show a discount but then when you click on the store it only shows gift cards are face value?

@Pawtim: If I were you I’d just a file a dispute with my credit card company. You just need to try to contact the merchant in “good faith” to resolve the issue in order to dispute it. If you get the cards in the mail you can call your credit card company and remove the dispute. I’d get the ball rolling now while you’re still within the 60 days of the statement date that the charge was on.

Dan's the Man

@Jack: You don’t need legal proceeding if they didn’t ship you what you ordered. You simply need to dispute the credit card charge. It’s easy and simple. Your situation is a lot different than someone purchasing cards and simply not receiving them.

Fay

Need to update my post. I received the 4 American Airlines gift cards on Sunday, when they should have arrived Thursday but they worked. I saved almost $50.
