worked easily from inside the app on my iphone.

Nice!

Spent $20 on a $25 Target GC. Then bought a $15 Amazon GC for $10 (new account), then a $25 Amazon GC for $20.

Dan, what should i do, the froze my account and want me to send passport or licence? is it safe to do or is there a way around it?
Thanks!

Buyer beware with Gyft.com!!! I encountered the same issue as Sam’s experience above. Here’s my story. Because of this post, yesterday I used PayPal to authorize a purchase of $20 for a Whole Foods giftcard at Gyft.com, but I encountered the same problems that Sam described above, and I have not been able to redeem my $20 giftcard. I emailed Gyft.com a dozen times about this issue, and they finally send me a link to verify myself in order for me to redeem the giftcard. I followed that link to a place where I was asked to verify myself online by attaching an image of my photo ID, or my driver’s license, or my passport (a highly suspicious and unusual request). No way am I going to send them a photo identification, especially when I used PayPal to make the purchase! I requested a refund, but they said all giftcard sales are final. I immediately contacted American Express, which I used to make the PayPal purchase, to dispute the charge, and American Express has resolved the problem for me satisfactorily. Again, buyer beware!

ugh

what if i made the purchase with paypal?

I had the same problem as Sam and Tran! I made a purchase and they said it was suspicious activity in my account and wanted my id. That was suspicious to me. Fortunately, the order did not go through, but I dontthink I’ll be dealing with them again.
