Was getting the error I just opened a new account now it worked I have some kind of discount on my other account the rates are better on that one but I was paying for a daily pickup no more thank you dan

I just read some of the terms and conditions.
Apparently after the first year you will be charged $10 a week, so make are to cancel it in a year.
i signed up for this 2 days ago worked with my ups my choice account BUT I still do see $7 charge for pick up. It is NOT WORKING!

I already had a UPS account and had trouble getting signed up for this. What I did that worked: signed into my UPS account. clicked on Dan’s link above. Picked OPEN MY ACCOUNT. then filled in stuff and for ‘pickup type’ I picked ‘UPS smart pickup’.

Still working via Dan’s link. Could not complete in Firefox but IE worked just fine. I did have to make 2-3 attempts before it finally went through
To everyone asking why they are charging for the shipment – you still have to pay to ship the items, just the PICKUP is now free for a year.
