Amazon’s frustration free packaging does not imply at all that it has been through many hands. It just means Amazon makes a deal with the seller to minimize packaging. The final sealed packaging still comes from the maker/ factory and there is no reason to suspect any kosher issues.
@abe: I bought it last week for $35, I chatted with amazon and they are refunding me $5. Really easy. I hope this helps!

All is good if Amazon sells and ships it, however this is being sold by a 3rd party seller and only shipped by FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon)

Do people who buy these actually keep using them? I keep thinking this is a modern-day breadmaker — at least once you exhaust your CO2 canister. The product always strikes me as a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist (soda/seltzer is easy to buy and cheap).
They just refunded the $5 to me, too. The e-mail said that they can only honor one price drop per item. The policy seems to be that if it goes down within 7 days of delivery, they refund the difference.

Been using mine for years.
Don’t have to shlep seltzer from the store, it’s much cheaper, and I don’t have to deal with the empty bottles either.

Just got mine doesn’t work and sodastream said its from an unauthorized dealer so they can’t help me…amazon refunded it, 2nd one coming next week hope it works
