Anyone who knows wine ever have this? A $30 bottle for 12 is great, but only if it’s really a $30 bottle. The reviews seem a bit too good.

Mike B: I took a look at the reviews of all 17 people who left reviews and 13 of them have never reviewed any product on Amazon other than wine from this label and of those there were a number of reviewers who did reviews of multiple products from this winery. Combined with a perfect 5 Star rating I am altogether highly skeptical.

@ER: I’m with you in calling shenanigans on this. $12/bottle is still a fair amount to pay considering there decent options exist for the kosher consumer from South Africa, Australia and Argentina for the same if not less money. NY State wines are not generally as well regarded. Not trying to take away parnassa from Mar Rosenberg but this definitely seems a shtickl shady.

I’ve had this wine on a few occasions. The California Cab is a great deal for $12. To give you an idea, this wine certainly outshines some of the lower end Baron Herzog wines, which retail for 12-16

That was copied from a review by a verified purchase who described it that way. We didnt notice that. The label clearly says NY Cabernet Sauvignon and everyone who purchases it, sees NY in the description and on the bottle and then on the confirmation.

I’ve tasted BenIsh wines quite a few times and they are really good. Good flavor, no bad after taste… It’s really nice

I caved.. splitting an order of 6 with a friend. Better not be bad… I’m hoping its as good as the last $30 bottle I bought, the Louis Pascal Project (that was some great wine!). I hear the second “project” will be coming out in January and I will be getting at least a case if it is as good as the first run. Plus there will be a reserve!

Seriously though, if anyone can find me bottles of the Louis Pascal, I would buy a case right now!

@Mike B: Im also having the same issue, opened a bottle as soon as it arrived, it was turned with bubbles. figured maybe letting it sit would do it some good, opened another bottle three months later, worse experience. Tastes off and fizzy.
