Dan,
In regards to credit cards, if I lower my credit limit on one of my cards so I can make room for other cards since I’m maxed out, will that hurt my credit?
Thanks

rach

Thanks Dan!! Anyone know of a decent priced all inclusive resorts in S. Juan?

Dan's the man

@Anonymous: Yes it will and if you’re maxed out and paying credit card interest you’re paying a lot more than any “rewards” that you’re gaining.

Marc Heuberger

I just booked Feb 1-5 via jet blue for $179 each. Awesome. Now all I need is a good hotel that’s around $100 a night and still nice?

Anonymous

@dans the man: I have many cards and I always pay my cc on time. However, I was never declined for a card up until recently because I have too much credit out there. I was thinking of lowering one of my credit limit since I don’t use that card often which will hopefully free up some credit. Was just wondering if that would hurt my credit score.

nir

just booked jfk to san juan, 2 tickets, intercontinental san juan hotel and rental car for 373.00 each with delta..thanks dan..

Saul Kleiman

I wish to be notified of all specials

SY

Nir, what are your dates that you booked?

Fleh

Good deal, yo. Props. +SPG in da hizzouse.

mgoldhammer

Tried, did not work

From our trip...

Food: The dairy place is only falafel and very limited otherwise. The meat place you can order in advance but I dont think you can just walk in. It’s not cheap but reasonable. The food is same as rest of USA in terms of hechsherim in a supermarket for snacks, etc.

Places to stay: If you want to stay in the more bustling area, that would be San Juan. But if you want a more beach centric or chilled area, there are many all around, but closest to the airport would be the northeast on the island. I think we hotwired or pricelined and did get something for around $100/night and the places seemed very nice. Check tripadvisor for bedbugs though.

Stuff to do: Depends on your interests. There’s the old city of San Juan (that’s where the kosher food is), there’s the El Yunque rainforest, bioluminescent bay (glows at night, kayak trips), bacardi rum factory (plenty that is kosher), ziplining, etc.

JG

How serious is the bed bugs issue in PR? Ive seen a few postings about it on trip advisor

david

IS IT SAFE TO GO THERE?

simon

this seems not to be available anymore on any of the three airlines. please confirm if its over or dates if you booked this afternoon 10/28.

Why when I search for flights they’re showing the cost at $340, is this deal still live?

sam ash

Club kosher runs a great pesach program at the Hilton there…only thing thatd make it even better would be having access to these rates…anybody know the odds of these rates (or something close to them) coming out any time soon?

Dan Z

@nir: hi, how did you do that?

batya

@Shlomo: chabad!

Anonymous

michal
