I’ve only had great experiences with SimpleTech hard drives…much better than what I can say for WD.
Speaking from experience: If you have any files that you care about and don’t back them up often on a full size externally powered 3.5″ external hard drive…just be prepared to lose them one day or pay $$$$$ to try to recover them!
