on the link it says “Remember, only the Basic Delta SkyMiles® Credit Cardmember is eligible for this offer.” Is the platinum eligible for this offer?

Basic cardholder is AMEX language for primary cardholder.
Secondary (Additional) cardholders will not get the double miles.
The terms say that every Delta AMEX qualifies for the promo.
