Dan

@sean:
I just tried the link in the post and it’s still $79.99.

Canada

Does this have CANADA maps?

David

Does anyone know what it takes to get Israel map onto this device?

Dan
abraham

Does it have traffic updates as well?

levi

Anyone have experience with this GPS? Is it a good deal?

Dan Fan

Does this have lane assistance? how about traffic?

Dan

@abraham:
No.

@levi:
It’s a good price, yes.

@Dan Fan:
It does have lane assist and junction view.
And speed limits.
No traffic.

sean

It is still available, my bad.

Just ordered one. Good deal. It is a very nice GPS, great bang for your buck.

I have the 40LM just a drop smaller, same thing. Gets the job done.

Don'tgetit

I don’t get who still buys these?
Just use your phones GPS it’s better has traffic!

HesderGuy

Why do people still buy GPS’s and not use the free Waze app – assuming you have a smartphone?

don'tgetiteither

I dont get it either. Google Maps and Waze are much better and Free 🙂

Dan

@Don’tgetit:
Not everyone has a smartphone?
People who actually need to use their phone to talk on?

Osborne Greene

@ Don’tgetit, agreed. GPS is like a film camera. It may have some sort of advantage as Dan points out, but for most this thing’s a dinosaur.

Peteco

@Osborne Greene: In MANY US roads cellular reception is spotty at best. Good luck with your google maps then!

lotofsimcha

One good reason to use these is because the bluetooth speaker system on them is far better than the one attached to your car…. I have yet to see a car with a good bluetooth speaker system where people can actually hear you…

you can actually hear people crystal clear on these and even more surprisingly they can hear you perfectly with hands free talking…

that is about the only reason to get one of these as the phone gps’s are superior..

Trainer

Price went back up to 93.90

@levi:

I had it for abt a year – I was very satisfied even though it does not warn abt bad traffic. Then things went wrong it wouldn’t type; I returned it to Costco for a full return. This was my own experience.
